OUR STORY
Breeding quality dogs to be true members of your family.
Welcome! My name is Jordin, and I am the proud owner of North Legacy Labradors along with my husband, Travis. We have been involved in Labradors for ten years together and have recently began our breeding program. Located in beautiful southern Ontario, our dogs enjoy all four seasons between our cottage and farmhouse. Together, Travis and I work to raise well-rounded Labradors that will excel in any discipline. We love the versatility and hardiness of the breed and aim to preserve their natural retrieving instinct in our breeding program.
A LITTLE ABOUT US!
My love for the breed began at an early age after watching my parents foster Labradors for Canine Vision Canada. I grew up with many labs, my favourite being our yellow male, Sampson. He accompanied me through many of life’s journeys and taught me how magical the love from a Labrador can be.  My passion for animals led me to the University of Guelph where I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science. Following my undergrad, I pursued my Master’s degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in Applied Reproductive Biotechnologies where I conducted research at the Toronto Zoo studying mammalian ovulation. Throughout my degrees I had the privilege of learning from many wonderful mentors in canine genetics, pet nutrition, and small animal reproduction. Working at various general and specialty veterinary practices throughout my university career, combined with my education, I feel confident in my ability to breed and raise quality Labradors. After many years of schooling, I am now a registered nurse working full-time and look forward to focusing on my dogs and growing our family!
